Mike was one of several trainers I met a health club years ago, and he stood so far out from the rest that when he left the club to start training clients on his own, I followed him. His range as a coach, however, goes far beyond the workouts he gives in his studio, encompassing diet, supplementation, sleep, recovery, injury rehabilitation, the correction of weaknesses and imbalances, new health and fitness related technologies, and the interplay between fitness and other aspects of life. A successful competitor in such different and demanding sports as wrestling and cycling, Mike is both jock and scientist, athlete and intellectual.
